 Is there somthing else i should be doing ?

i have put my female in a laying bin and she has been digging in it but has not layed any thing yet she has not even tried this is her 5 day of not eating and digging i have a 60cm by 40cm laying bin and a heat mat under it, it has a sheltered bit and is filled with potting soil 3/4 is there any thing else i should be doing or am i just impatant this is her first cluch i am sure i felt 1 egg last night as be for i could feel nothing but will she get to weak as she has not eaten ?

In case you havent already done this; the soil should be a bit moist and slightly firm so when she digs a hole it will not collapse on her. It also should be sloped(high on one side low on the other) If you already have it set up this way ignore this. If not, try this, and also start a hole for her. If the lay bin is inside of her tank , try taking it out of the tank and put her back in it and then kinda just leave her there, with some privacy. Be patient...she will lay when she is ready. As far as the eating..it is normal for her to not eat right now.
