i need to know how many crickets a new born beadie has to eat in a day i heard alot of answers for this but i need to know the right one im gonna take care of 5 new born babies any tips will be helpful :O

Ok Each one has its own appetite. I have 44 hatchlings right now and they can go thru 5-8 crickets depending on the size of crickets you feed them. Mine are 3 weeks old and eat 1/4 crickets. Make sure the crickets are no bigger than the space between there eyes, could choke.I go thru almost 30 doz. a day. I would mail order your crickets 1,000 a month should work if not more. Here’s a place I go thru, If you continue to buy regularly fron there they might give you a discount. Quality Crickets There totally pest free and accurate on sizes. I have used them for a long time and no problems, But if you order use USPS not (UPS) cause they always ruin the boxes resulting in no crickets upon delivery. Regular mail works fine if not better. well it all depends i have over 60 babies right now..i feed them crickets in the morning and veggies chopped up very fine in the afternoon. i go through about 10 dozen crickets a day for all the babies. and i order 1,000 every 2 weeks i also give mine wax worms about twice a week 2 worms per baby. but thats my personal preference.hope this helps.

Your going to tell me, after stepping on me feet. You only feed your babys 2 crickets a piece a day. Ok if you only feed them 2 crickets a day you go thru 840 crickets a week. Would’nt that be 1,680 every 2 weeks. So how do you get 1,000 crickets every 2 weeks!!! Maybe you should do something before you type something. As far as aging them it could be difficult doing so. How long have you had them? And were they hatchlings when you bought them or how many inches were they when you got them? Michael J
