 Throat Thing

hey yall- I have a question. We just moved a few days ago & in our new house- our dragons are along two walls (instead of one in the old house) and they can now see each other. They are doing some weird puffing out the throat thing- but it’s not like what they do when they get upset- with the mouth open and spikes all sticking out- it’s basically just the fat below their chin spikes that is puffing out, kinda like a bullfrog does or looking like they are going to throw up. They aren’t head bobbing at each other or waving or anything... just that. And it’s like my one 2 year old boy & 3 day old hatchlings doing it too each other! Others are too, but I thought that was the weirdest. My one girl who did it, yawned after a few times- so I figured it was some sort of communication, just no big deal kinda thing- but I was just wondering if anyone knew what they were saying. It’s really cool cause I’ve never seen them do this before and now they are all doing it (all 50 plus of them...) But we also had one guy do it when he wasnt around any other dragons- but he was shedding at the time, so we thought maybe he was trying to start getting the skin off of his chin or something..

If they can now see each other the males will be compeating for domance.. thats what the head bobbing and "throat thing" is about - keep and eye on them as this may stress them out ..
