Do babies bd have umbilical coards???
 i was wondering if the baby beardies have umbilical cords or however you spell it???if they do what do you do with it???brittney

Do babies bd have umbilical coards???  Lizzy- Yes, some babies are hatched with the umbilical cord still attached. Once the baby has hatched and you remove it from the egg container , you place them into another container in the incubator on wet paper towels. After 24 hours if the cord is still not fully obsorbed you can place it outside the incubator in a container to itself, with only wet paper towels on the bottom . Do not put anything in with it that it can snag the cord on.

Do babies bd have umbilical coards???  It’s more of a sack than a cord, but yes some will come out with it not absorbed yet. Follow the instructions above with the damp paper towel thing and you’ll be fine.Sean
