Aggression in mating....  Mating can be very violent, it’s completely normal. As long as no blood is drawn I don’t interfere. The possibility does exist for one or both to get injured though, usually it’s the male. I’ve never had any get killed but I have had girls that turned around and took off arms, tails, and caused serious wounds to the main body of some of my guys (it only takes a second). Head bobbibg, charging, circling, and neck biting are all completely normal. Clean any wounds and apply neosporin asap, if the wound is deep and the bleeding won’t stop you can close it with super glue (sounds mean, but that’s what you vet will do), if body parts become missing or are damaged to the point of no blood flow take them to a vet. Breeding isn’t for everyone, if you can’t handle chancing injury don’t do it. Good luck.Sean
