does it matter if your how old your male beardie is before beerding as long as your fmale is the right age?

I have an older pair that seem to be very close.......She just had 18 eggs. I have spent an obsessive amount of time on this site...This is a self sacrificing EXPENSIVE thing to do....If you didn’t care you wouldn’t post.....This is the last time my guys breed...Igor was supposedly an expensive Sandfire...He is a sweet gentile old man...He looks old. I think he and Penelope have been together for a long time...I bought them as a rescued breeding pair. Interestingly they came with two cement cinder blocks that Penelope can hide in..

Great protective breeding idea...not so pretty. I was new to reptiles...Didn’t realize that they were as expensive as puppies!!!! and as sweet....If your old guy needs to retire let him rest.

If I do it right I soon have a very expensive responsibility of many sweet babies. I f I do it wrong I’m responsible for a lot of expensive creatures that are helplessly dependent. I will have brought them into this world...I am responsible.

actually i asked because my male is over a year younger than my female.
but nevermind anyway because now that we looked we are almost positive he is a she.
the told us it was a boy but im not so sure now.
