 Hatchlings Not Eating....

Hullo all,
well I got 11 hatched, and they bagan to hatch on the 26th, so far I have not managed to get them feeding, I read that they should begin feeding after 24 hours. Im thinking that its probably an environmental factor that I have not got correct and wondered if anyone could advise, they are setup as follows...

Each hatchling is housed in his/her own clean cricket tub, after 2-3 days the substrate is changed from the Vermiculite in there Incubation chamber to toilet paper, There eggs have been left with them for 2-3 days until the egg is completely dry and has no available yolk.
As they are in there own tubs and dont have the freedom to run all over the place I have placed a thermostat probe directly over the middle box and have the temp set to 30c (85f) (and im thinking the temperature is the problem?), they are supplied with mushed carrot and pea each day, and transfered to another tub for feeding which contains nutrobal as substrate (so if they lick a crik and miss they get some calcium this is done once per day) and micro crickets (hatchling ones), 3x per day.
Misted with water 2x per day...

This is the first time ive had hatchlings so really a bit nervous,
hope to hear from someone soon

Thank you,
Liam

Many hatchlings are still full of egg yolk for 3 to even 7 days after hatching so don’t worry too much as long as their bellies are chubby. But the temperature is pretty low. They should have a basking temperature of at least 103 degrees, that’s the minimum core body temperature needed for digestion, and the basking spot can go as high as 120. The cool side of the cage should be in the high 70s to low 80s.

Ideally they should not be on a particulate substrate as that raises the risk of impaction, paper towels are safest. Also try offering finely chopped greens such as collards, dandelions, mustard or turnip greens. They are far more nutritious than peas and carrots and contain a lot more calcium.

I would suggest getting them in a viv with UV and a heat source. They love to bask and with the set up you have, this isn’t possible. I have just had 9 baby’s and one hasn’t been eating. As a last resort, You can try to feed them Baby Chicken food through a syringe(He loves it and as put on weight over night) Beardies tend not to eat within the first two to five days, as they are still full of the egg yolk.
I wouldn’t worry unless they look thin, if this is the case and they won’t eat, try the chicken food.
Good Luck
