My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! Calm down... They commonly dig test holes, sometimes for days, before laying. Just keep checking after she burries the holes just in case. Or you could always check her, either feel for the eggs or weigh her if you can’t feel them. They will drop a sizeable amount of weight when they lay, depends on how many eggs but 50-100 grams isn’t uncommon. Good luck.Sean

My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! Ya that all sounds good. Has she laid anymore yet? I don’t know why she’d just drop one and then wait but sometimes it doesn’t go by the book lol. Sean

My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! I suppose it’s possible it would be odd though. Try lifting her by the base of the tail so that her belly flattens out and see if you see any bulges. If so those are eggs if not she may have only had the one.Sean

My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! She laid eggs on the surface!!! wow that’s a first for me, I’ve never heard of that before! Before I saw your last post I was going to say she still has eggs, her belly looked very lumpy in that last photo. Now she’s laid all these eggs you’ll need to get her weight back up, I bet she looks skinny huh? I gave my female a coupl eof very small pinkies and some waxies after she’s laid her eggs. I also gave her a couple of fruit beetle grubs, but these can be hard to come by. Make sure what you feed her is dusted with calcium. most of her calcium has gone into making the eggs so she’ll need a litle calcium boost over the next few days and some decent food in her belly. gut loaded crix/locusts, some greens (not kale, pea’s or spinich) and a nice bath to help re-hydrate her. :o) TD.x.

My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! The eggs should be white and firm - not hard and not too squishy. around an inch long and oval in shape, though some might look more streched than others.TD.x.

My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! I dont want to cause unwarrented concern but I wonder if she may still have eggs left inside of her? I read somewhere or was told by someone on here that they lay on the surface to get rid of what they can until they find a place they feel is safe to lay the rest. I know they can lay clutches that small.....but should this person be on the lookout in case she is still holding eggs? Also with my first clutch of eggs my first thought when handleing them was ....wait these eggs are soft....i guess i thought they would be as firm as chicken eggs..lol! But the were all fertile. I wonder if that is what this person(sorry i forgot what the name was) meant by soft?

My Beardie didnt lay her eggs! HELP!! Brandon, your dragon is weird man lol.. Ok so about 10 eggs total so far? Are you sure she’s done? She may refertilize and lay again in 20-30 days, if she does I think I’d try a different substrate next time and see if that goes any better. I’d also make sure she doesn’t have any more in her this time, you don’t want them sitting in there rotting it could cause major problems.Sean
