 Something is not right

So, I looked closer at the eggs due 6-9 and I saw tiny white/creme colored worms on one of the eggs and around the soil. Anyone know what they are and how they got there? What can I do to get rid of them? Are they harmful to the eggs? Any help would be great. Thanks

Sounds like knat or fruitfly larvae. They get into absolutely everything here and drive me crazy! The best thing to do is to start a new egg-container. Scoop out the eggs from the old container, and use a soft toothbrush to brush off the worms before transferring them to the new container. Don’t turn to the eggs when you move them. You may have a bad egg which attracted the flies, but not neccesarily.

Thanks. Hey, will that endanger the living embryo’s if I move them at this point?

They will be fine as long as you don’t turn them when you move them. Even then, this late in the game it would be pretty hard to hurt them too easily.
