Bearded dragon digging

hi all i think my dragon is gravid she has been digging like mad i have a cat litter tray in full with soil from the pet shop and i have play sand in the viv she hasnt eaten for about 5 days all she wants to do is dig dig dig can somebody tell me how long befor she will lay thanks

Your conditions aren’t quite right and they won’t lay until they’re comfortable with the conditions. Scroll down and find Breeding101 or click ’more info’ at the top and read it. You could also go through posts until you find Beths (BeardiePal) pictures of her lay box (they’re pretty much ideal). Anyway quick rundown - you need a huge rubbermaid tub, 50lbs of moistened dirt piled to one end and point a clamp light at it. Do that and she’ll probably lay right away for you. Ask if you’ve got any questions, I’m at work and have to run to a meeting but I’ll check back afterwards.

anytime really, they’re kind of unpredictable. what I’ll usually do is cut the lid of the rubbermaid in half and use it to cover the end with the dirt, after that I just peak in every hour or so to see what she’s up to. wait for her to burry the eggs before you go in after them, yes it’s more work for you but she’s not done until she burry’s them and tamps the dirt down with her head.

hi my girl had 12 eggs last night now they are in the incubator so now its the big wating game they all look white ill take a pic of them and post later thanks for all ur help. when should she start eating again iv tryed this morning but she will not eat.
