Jeff - you have some very nice dragons there!

These were sold to me as "marketed leucistic", but are just a hypo type. They’re only a couple months old in this older pic. I need to take new shots of them. We’ll see how they develop:



Here’s a Sandfire pairing young male I still have that was ugly as sin when born and never sold. Look at him now as a juvenile! It’ funny how there’s no predictability or reason for some developing nice colors and others not - as this guy was charcoal, dusky and small as a baby. Go figure....

Dirt and mulch and things of that nature are usually regional. It’s too expensive to ship stuff that sells for 50 cents a pound all over the country. So, for example, in FL you will have a ton of sand that is almost beach sand and soils that are very sandy, but cannot find decomposed rock or clay for the most part. Up in the NE it’ll be a darker and more clay-rich dirt etc. I guess you have brown dirt and sand in WA??? But it’s usually regional variation of what is sold. I wish I could get some red river basin dirt from the Grand Canyon in some of my desert species enclosures.

Sweet! I’ve been interested in how they are progressing. Mine still look like the last photo I shot, but the smaller male I have has more pastel colors to him than the above girl. Both are growing very quickly towards adult size.

i just got 30 eggs from 2 of my female hypos that i breed to the yellow orange hypo male that is the grand son to skeletor. skeletor is the recessive smoothy that started the phantom smoothy line for josh at phantom dragons.
