Never give up 
just a note to say never give up on your eggs.I was about to dump some very dry dented egg today 5 days after the other 13 had hatched but with bama beardies advice I misted the eggs and left them and just look who popped out 5 minutes ago.I posted a pic of another egg that is similar but this one is not as bad as the one that the baby came out of. so never give up .Barbara

I thought I read in a previous thread not to directly mist the eggs. Which is correct? I’m not sure I’ve been doing right by my eggs so far.

Hi Barbara,thats what I ,d read as well and when I read that Jay mists his eggs I questioned him,but I have to say he knows what he s talking about ,because as soon as I followed his instructions my eggs began to hatch at 73 days,I will look up the post for you and bump,Jay posts under name of Bama Beardies and he,s great,I,d have been lost without him after heartmountain and beth left.Barbara

Hey Barbara, Thats great news on your eggs. Its amazing how they can hatch outta something that looks so dead and gone. Glad to here there all doing well and running about, have all of them hatched yet?

Hi Jay,I dumped the rest of the eggs yesterday as they were deffinitly dead.It was a lesson learned as I blame myself for letting the eggs dry out to much,but I will be more careful wih the next lot that are due to hatch within the next couple of weeks.I got 14 babies out of that batch.They are doing fine but I cannot get then to eat crickets.I am off to the pet store today to see can I get smallers crickets but I douth it as the ones I have are tiny.Thank you for asking and I will keep you posted.Barbara
