My rankins (lawsons) dragons eggs hatched!

Meadow and Toad my rankins dragon breeders laid seven eggs a while back and three of them just hatched!

Meadow

Toad

One of the baby rankins dragons compared to a rankins egg and a quarter.

After hatching the rankins dragons become aggresive. Here is one of them showing the typical yellow mouth.

A close-up of the head.

This is what one of the rankins was doing when I opened the container up to take pictures. Hes not sick though he is running around, active and healthy.

All the of the baby Rankins.

Yep, I’ve bred bearded dragons before but the rankins are more difficult.

Both bearded dragons and rankins are very similar in hatching. The bearded dragons take about two months and the rankins take a week or two longer. You should leave them in the incubator for 24 hours and than put them in a cage with a heat lamp and uvb. They will be very sleepy and will not eat for a day or two depending on the temperature. If they baby’s are not eating their crix than remove them, many people make mistakes of leaving them in the cage and the lizards end up being the food.

Hope this helps!
