 A little concerned

As some of you know, I had two beardies hatch out. I am concerned because they hatched out almost two weeks ago and none of the others are doing anything. It actually looks like they are drying out. There is enough moisture in the box and I can see the moisture beads on the side of the container, thought they are not above the substrate.
Is this normal sometimes? I have been misting them every so often to try and get some moisture back in to the eggs. Only one of them is dimpled and does not feel dry. They were due on April 23rd.
Can someone please tell me what to do? I know that first time clutches don’t always hatch, but this seems a little much. Any advice would be great.

Thank you so much,
OX

your not supposed to spray the eggs it blocks the pores and then the baby gets no oxygen mine went up to 80 days and didnt hatch i had to cut mine open in the end but dont do this unless u know there defenetly somet wrong leave them till 80 days at least as they can hatch any time from 60 up to 80 days 4 of mine were dead in the shell 10 survived but the only thing is u have to get the sac off them quick and give them a little rub and they will start breating and they will have the yolk sac on still so put them in seprate containers with damp towel if it comes to this some one else mite know diffrent tho but this is wot i got told to do

I am misting the soil close to the eggs. I am not wetting them or anything like that, I know that the eggs shouldn’t get wet. As for the way they look to me, only one might still hatch. I am keeping my fingers crossed. The temp in the incubator is at 84 encase anyone was wondering.
Thanks,
OX

I was actually told by Bama Beardies, that he has been misting his eggs for 6 years since hes started breeding, and i tried it on my eggs like he said, and if you jsut mist them really lightly, it helps get all the dented eggs undented, it actually works very well.

If you have moisture condensing inside the container its too wet. If you mist the eggs directly and the shell is dry and not shiny in 3 hours, they aren’t too wet. People say not to mist eggs because it blocks the gas exchange. Well it doesn’t. If they stayed wet then yes it would block the exchange. Many people dont realize the eggs do absorb water from the misting (thats why dry dented eggs will plump back up) and from the substrate. When I put fresh laid eggs into the deli cups, or when i have to transfer eggs, i wash the extra vermiculite off the tops of the eggs with a heavy spray not a stream from the spray bottle. Have never had any problems what so ever. Blaze sent me pix of her eggs, amazing how fast they plumped back up once the moisture level went up. -Jay

The moisture level is not above the substrate line. And I have now misted the eggs directly. They are not plumping back up at all. The other clutch that is in the incubator looks great though.
I am so confused. They all looked great until the first two hatched and then is when I started noticing all of the changes. The day after the first two hatched several started to dimple and sweat and then nothing. Now they just seem dried out.
I don’t know what to do.

I did open one of the driest eggs yesterday. The baby was fully formed but the yolk was hard but not solid. I think the others will look the same if I do open them. But if that is normal for the yolk at this stage I don’t want to destroy the rest of the embryos.

I don,t know if this helps but a couple of my eggs went the same as yours and I misted the eggs as I was told to by Bama beardies Jay and just when I was going to dump them I got another 2 babies.

This is a picture of 1 of the eggs and the baby that came from it.Barbara
