Leting my dragons sleep for jay If your going to brumate this is what we do. We run at 14hrs a day on for lights. we reduce the time the light is on by one hour a week until they have had 1 week at 10 hours, then lights off. Total darkness. But check on them. sometimes they go right down, but if they are still up and moving a lot after a week, I take them out and back under then lights. 3 weeks into the cool down, 3 weeks before lights out everyone gets a fecal test run. The last 2 weeks before lights out we cut back on the food, and the last week before the lights go out no food at all. We also give plenty of baths to make sure they go to the bathroom, and no food material is left in their stomach to rot. Hope this helps Check pm’s -Jay

Leting my dragons sleep for jay Ours stay down between 8-12 weeks, but we wake them every 2- 3 for short periods for a bath to keep them hydrated. Just get a fecak test run on them both to be sure before you let them really crash out. -Jay
