Got an answer from my friend at the zoo. tulip petals do not contain any substances known to be toxic to reptiles. He said he will fax me a list of other reptile safe flowers. lol Was it Cheech who went crazy over them? -J

Haha yea it was Cheech that went crazy over them. She was like jumping right off the ground into mid-air, trying to catch them, and if she got ahold of it in the air, she would jsut hang off of it until i put her down so she could eat it. She chased it all over the deck too, and when i threw the tulip to the other end of the deck, she would run all the way over to the flower to eat it. Crazy girl eh :P Puff n Stud like them too.

my guys LOVE mint and spearmint.. but be careful. It can, and does, cause loose stools if not fed in moderation. to my adults that is more than 3 leaves (not stems) in 2 days.

 Tulips?

I would call your local greenhouse or Zoo botanist.
I took a Flora class for my biology degree and there is 1 species of Tulips that DO HAVE poisonous petals and parts of the stem.
