Anyway this is what can happen to Beardies on Wood chip



im not starting an argument just sharing a peice of evidence for future reference, or to be used in explaining to ppl why not to use loose substrates

oh and this is a duplicate thread just to hopefully get it seen by more people

I do appreciate your concern to post this pic...I do believe that it is a valid concern to put beardies on wood chips and walnut shells...I think this is a good argument proof against it....Take care all, Beth

I think you should have stated more about what the pic is. I have actually seen it before, so I happen to know (like Beth) that it is of a Beardie who died of impaction from crushed walnut shells that blocked the intestine.
