Okay to put two adult males and two adult females together? If you are going to put males together you need a GIANT enclosure. I don’t ever recommend males together to anyone. It should only be attempted by experienced keepers.

Okay to put two adult males and two adult females together? That doesn’t mean one isn’t stressing the other one out and are you sure they are both males?

Even if there are no physical signes of scaring I assure you the effects are there. When housing lizards together it is best to house them alone or in pairs, when 2 males are introduced one has to become submissive, the other being the dominant one will eat better spend more time basking drinking etc. so the other may appear fine but it’s purpose in life is to eat and breed so if it has to be submissive to another male 24/7 it isn’t good for the overall health. Stress can be a slow killer. Now keep in mind that there are exceptions to everything but just think about it.Tony

Okay to put two adult males and two adult females together? All I know is that my two males will fight to the death. We don’t let them get to far but sometimes we let all 4 (2females and 2 males) hang out in our 7 foot tall / 7 foot long / 2 foot wide tank all together... supervised... but those two males will slowely but surely work there way to the other and scrap.... no injuries because we keep a close eye... but they could never live together... I’m sure they would kill eachother. I know that each beardie is different... that’s just my experience.
