 How Many cages for the lil guys?
I’m currently breeding two males with two females,(with much success too!  ) They will probly lay a bunch of eggs, they are mating alot, Do you think three ten gallon tanks could hold the maximum amount of babies for this load? Also, I’m making an incubator, think this will work?- (large styrofoam box)(small tub of water inside for humidity)(one humidity gauge)(Heat rock in bottom for heat)(small egg container w/ eggs on stand in middle of box)(prelite in egg container(tubbuware))(styrofoam lid on box).

I’ve never made in incubator so I can’t help you there but 3 10 gallon tanks will not be anywhere near enough for that many babies, you’re talking about possibly 60 babies or more at a time, not to mention the fact that the females will continue to lay for many months. You should also seperate them from the males, constant breeding is dangerous and stressful. Anyway I try not to house more than 4-6 together. You shouldn’t house the max number together because you will end up with a lot of nips. Also I hope you don’t use heat rocks actually in their cages.

I agree with blueeyes..you can buy some sterilite plastic tubs at walmart and have them just in case you have a large clutch of babies and need them.. better to be safe than sorry! As far as the incubator, buy the time you buy all that stuff and put it together you could have bought a hovabator or even the little giant 92000 incubators. I have them both and so far so good,

Thank you-No heat rocks for the dragons lol, I use them with my monitors. I have some wal mart tubs around just in case...How much did you pay for your incubators?
