Help My dragons laying eggs Hi
Need some help here. I have never had my dragon breed before, did not even know she was pregnant. Shes laying eggs! I have them in an incubator, but as i am learning her eggs dont look anything like the pictured eggs. They are not hard, very soft, and some are dimpled none are perfectly round. can someone please give me some advice and let me know if this is normal?

Help My dragons laying eggs If your girls have not been with a male, it is probably infertile eggs...females can & will lay eggs without a male encounter, he he....B

Help My dragons laying eggs Hey there...my name is Beth....I just think that something is not right if she is laying 3 eggs a day. Be sure her lay box is outside her enclosure....she should be placed in laybox with daytime bulb...she should dig a burrow head first...then she turns arond and lays her eggs....then she come out and covers the hole and packs it in tight...this is when you remove your female and give her a well earned bath while you excavate the eggs. Female bearded dragons are sometimes choosy when it comes to laying her eggs...if conditions are not what she wants she could dig and dig trying to get it right and drive herself into exhaustion...or she could hold the eggs the best she can and actually unwillingly lay 3 at a time...she would much rather lay them all at once...in the above situation. If she doesn’t get the laybox she could become egg bound and hold onto some eggs, they grow, and then she cannot pass them. Get the correct laybox....put in 40-80 ppounds of topsoil with no additives...and put her in...it should be moist...you don’t want it to cave in ......build a mound at one side..pic to follow....expect more eggs in 20-25 days after the first, so get ready....Take care Beth

Hope this helps,,,B
