You can consider a female sexually mature at 18 months old, and over 450 grams, thats when I felt it was safe to breed mine. After they got to that size, they laid huge clutches of eggs every 23 days for 2 months. I would let her get that old.
You have to watch out, keep her seperate from ANY other beardies. She can, and will mate much younger than the prefered age.

Just be careful with it.

Matt

It is not unheard-of for female bearded dragons to lay eggs when no male is involved, but in such cases the eggs are always infertile.

A lone female will usually lay infertile eggs every spring, but just a clutch or two. Sometimes they do not lay the eggs and they must resorb as ova before being shelled in her body. They still need to nest the eggs if she does start scratching and digging around and looks pudgy, just as if she had mated.

A lay box is needed if she starts fattening up and appearing pregnant. Some females never ever have to lay like Krusty said because they absorb the infertile eggs. Others like my Porsche starts scratching, pacing, and lays off food for a few days...thats how I know when she is ready to lay...then I put her in a laybox. But she has never been with a male. Last year she had 4 or 5 clutches every 20-25 days as if she had a viable pregnancy...hope this helps...Beth
