Help more collapsing trying to save

going on 3 wks transfered to containers w/lids 5 collapsing pretty much they’re all in their own cont. i got glad mini cont w/lids 1/2cup(orignally had them in cups w/no lid and had them buried in perlite, this is what i was informed to do/ a local breeder) moistened new perlite have holes drilled in sides and transfered maintaining as clean of an enviorment as poss. made hole in perlite about 1 1/2 inch deep and placed eggs in,but didn’t bury this time the eggs where marked so i knew which side is up and very gently placed them in my other 10 look really good how long should i keep the other 5 before i throw in the towel oh when i transfered the 5 "bad" eggs there was a slight brownish yellow color to the old perlite as if they oozed alittle (there was no cross contamination and each has their own cont.)temp steady at 82 but humidity dropped to about 75% added some more h2o to trough will recheck any thoughts

Help more collapsing trying to save

Jewel....Wish I had some suggestions on how to save your eggs. At this piont I think it’s up to mother nature. When I incubate my eggs I use a large stirophome cooler. I fill the bottom with water & set afloat a plastic container. The plastic container is filled 3-4 parts water & 5 parts vermiculite. The eggs should be "almost" barried. The bottom of the cooler is heated with an aqaurium heater that should keep the cooler at a consistant temp of 85-87 degrees. Humitity should be 100%. I use an outside thermomiter that tells me the temp & humidity...you can pick this up at radio shack. I’ve had 98% success. From the books that I’ve read, your incubation system needs to be ready when eggs are layed..to much handling or transfering might be bad for the eggs. Hope this helps.

thanks, i’ve got them in a hobavator and have had many diff sugg as to what to do eyespy and pe have been quite helpful w/ their sugg i’ve heard so much diff sugg hob vs homemade i guess you just pick one and figure it out w/ trial and error i thought i was doing everything right but had them in open cup in hob in perlite (can’t find vermiculite here)buried eggs/ info from a local breeder others say that’s not correct like i said you just gotta see what works best for you i guess hoping this latest works just wondering how much time i give the 5 that are collapsing before i give up on them doesn’t hurt to try until they start smelling i guess.
