BREEDING HELP well my mom braught home a female bearded dragon and we were planning on seeing if my male and that female would mate and they sure did, but now i want to know all about breeding, like how long is the female pregnant for, how do you tell if she is pregnant besides her getting really fat, and is there a breeding season or is it just whenever they feel like it, and as for incubators i would really like if you could post some pics of yours, if not then can you tell me all about that, like temp. humidity, what kind of substrate wether its just soil or something else, sorry for all the questions i know alot about bearded dragons jsut pretty much nothing about the eggs and what not, so thanks to all who respond i appriciate it.jake

BREEDING HELP You should find all of this out and then breed. New animals should be quarantined for 30-90 days so they shouldn’t even have been together. Is your female at least 18 months old? Breeding them before that can cause a lot of problems and be potentially life threatening. Do a search on here and read through some of the posts, all of those questions have been answered dozens of times. If you still have questions then we’re more than happy to help. Sorry to seem harsh but this gets really old around here. Breeding is very time consuming, space consuming and expensive. Your female could lay 30 eggs every month for the next 6 months from one mating. If you you don’t have them seperated please do so now and do not put them back together unless you want them to breed. It’s not good to keep them together.
