Eggs Htaching? 
My female laid 23 eggs Oct 26th, and its been 42 days since incubation at 85 degrees. What will happen right before they hatch, and how much time do you think untill hatching.
They all have veins, and I can see the embryo!Thanks!!! ~Brett

You’ve still got a bit of time, I’d look for them to be hatching around christmas. Before they hatch it’s common for them to sweat and dent a bit as the babies slit their way out. Sean

Don’t Pogana vitticeps eggs hatch from 50 to 65 days at about 85 degrees ferenheit? Whats the earliest anyone here has had there eggs hatch in days? And also, how many days do the eggs start to hatch when they begin to sweat, and collapse?

45 days is usually the earliest. They don’t always sweat and collapse and sometimes when they do it’s still days before they hatch, sometimes hours.

I’ve seen pictures of hatching eggs in bearded dragon books, that showed the hatching eggs turning a deep purplish color. Mine are starting to do that!
