 Mucous???

This is the second time I spotted some possible dried mucous from my male beardies bottom. The first time I took him to the vet, they ran a fecal which was negative and gave him a dose of pancour. They said he was totally healthy. What could this be? Has anyone ever heard or experienced this?

If he was healthy with a negative fecal why did they give him wormer? Are you trying to mate him and is there blood in it?

He said he was going to give the wormer prophalacticaly. There is no blood or odor. He did mate some time ago. I did not see it, so I don’t know when.

It sounds like he may be blowing his sperm plugs, they do that every now and then. Does it look like a dried out buger? If so that’s probably what it is.

Yep it’s completely normal. Like any guy if it sits around long enough it goes bad and he’s got to freshen it up, either by reabsorbing it or blowing it out. I can’t say how often he’ll do it but it is normal.
