 Is a bearded dragon right for me??
Hey, can someone tell me if a bearded dragon is right for me. I currently have a 55 gallon tank filled with waterfall,trees,lighting, etc. I want to know if a bearded dragon has a good attitude? Is it tamed easily? I can feed it crickets and mealworms. I do not have sand in the tank, I know it is bad for them. I have research them and have everything I need to have a happy BD but what do you guys think?

Looks like you have more of a tropical vivarium instead of a desert habitat that the bearded dragon would need. IMO bearded dragons have great attitudes and are very tame and enjoy being held. They can be a very rewarding pet when taken care of properly. Make sure you read up on how to care for them and are able to make the commitment to their proper care. If you have any questions post them here and we will answer them and you will get a variety of opinions/suggestions from experienced owners. Good Luck!

depends on the size of the sand. what kind of lights do u have and on the UV light what is the % if the UVB. mealworms are ok but not for babies if u have a baby feed it somtimes. i feed them once a week waterfall is bad and do u have a pic of the tnak

Bearded Dragons are awesome but they do take special lighting and have some calcium needs to tend to. Find all the info you can on the web about them and you decide. Personally I love em!!!
