 Bearded dragon egg laying question

I began incubating 18 bearded dragon eggs the 2nd of this month, this is my first attempt at this. I separated the male and female at that time and haven’t put her back with him. She already appears to be gravid again....is that possible so soon? Do they have to be with a male before each egg production time for the eggs to be fertile? All input very welcome!

You could have eggs every month for 6 months depending on the health of your female. Bearded dragons retain sperm and can refertilize for several months after the first breeding.

 Bearded dragon egg laying question

OH MY, I better get busy then huh? Wow that is exciting!! Thanks Harmurray!! Appreciate the quick response. This poses another question then...I am currently using those rigid sandwich containers to hold my incubating eggs in moistened vermiculite substrate. This only leaves maybe room for two more containers in my hovabator. How close can you place the eggs within those containers for comfortable hatching? Please give me some ideas on what to do for space. Might mean purchasing another hovabator huh?

I usually do no more than 16-20 (4 rows of 4 or 5) per container. You should be able to get 4 containers in with room for a cup of water in the middle between them. A second hovabator is always good to have around just in case that first clutch hasn’t hatched by the time the third one is layed (figureing that each clutch will take 2 containers).

About $40 usually but they go on special every now and then for as little as $20.
