 Breeding Question (First Time)

Okay so I’ve had my girl bearded dragon for a while now, shes HUGE, beautiful , red. and just about 2 weeks ago i got a male beardie, i rescued him pretty much he was amaciated I would say. Just today i realized that he was bobbing his head from across the room at the female and she was responding with a sort of "wave" , so i called the pet store and the told me to just throw him in with her because they want to mate. I sat around all day waiting to see them breed , the book said it should happen pretty quickly. But my female just keeps tackling him and licking him and everytime he bobs his head she just kind of walks away and looses intrest in him, does that mean I should seperate them again? or should i just wait a while and see what happens? He keeps trying but she is just like teasing him, and she completly overpowers him. Thankyou!!!

NOOOO

jst b/c he wants to breed doesnt mean they should

he is a rescue he could be sick and have parasites he would give to your female
plus obviously you have done no research on breeding

do you have thousands of baby crickets ready for the babies you will get? do you have an incubator?
do you have 10-20 tanks for all the babies?
lighting for all the babies?

time to feed them 2-3x a day, clean the tanks several times a day

you shouldnt just through 2 beardies together b/c they "want to breed"
