 My male bd jusr tryed mating with my female...

my female is about 9 mounths old and my make bd is about 5 mounths old can he actually get her gravid????? hes small.....

I believe so but don’t let him get another chance seperate them they are way to young to be mating.

That wasn’t a very good idea. If your male and female did indeed mate, which at that age, I dont think is very possible, it is going to put alot of stress on your female. At that age, your lizard is still developing her body, and her bones. If she becomes gravid (pregnant with eggs) this is going to rob a major source of calcium, so your gonna have to make sure you give her an absolute diet with calcium (use the 2 repcal mixtures, they are at local petstores.) Just make sure you don’t have this happen again, cause it will be very bad on your female!

i think males can indeed mate at 5 mo. old. but shouldn’t until about a year and brett told you what will happen to females.
