I think my female beardie got some surprise sex... My male recently got into the females tank while I was out at college. But now he doesnt like to leave the females part of the tank. When I put him back on his own he constantly presses against the glass to get out and when i put him back in with the female... he’s happy as larry.
Any advice?

I think my female beardie got some surprise sex... Cover his side of the cage that faces her,he will go nuts to get to her and it can generate a level of stress for both of them. Even though I breed mine I still keep them out of view until its time for them to breed. They seem to eat better when out of view and it helps with my males attitudes since they get a little testy when they are displaying.

I think my female beardie got some surprise sex... His side is covered... they can’t see each other. But he still goes nuts. I changed them round in the sides of the cage so he’s in the same basking spot as his old tank. which seems to be helping. Can’t wait to get paid to finish off the bottom of the tank and give them both more room :]
