Do know the saying nature finds a way? This is an example of it! DO NOT TOSS THEM! They could very well be infertile eggs but, I have heard of the same situation. I female was never with a male and laid 18 eggs. The girl incubated them and had 12 beautiful baby dragons. A true miracle. It is normal for females to lay eggs that are not fertile, but every once in a while they are fertile. Buy an incubator from LLLReptile.com and follow normal procedure.

How long have you had her? Bearded dragons store sperm and can lay after many many months of breeding just once.

What do the eggs look like? Sometimes you can tell if they are fertile or not by the way they look.

If you had had her longer than a year and you are sure she has not been with a male, I would say it’s ok to throw them away. If you are not sure because you just got her and and don’t know of her previous housing arrangements......you can freeze the eggs for at least 24 hours.

I have never heard of the situation that dshthorn is talking about. Definitely a miracle if the owners were sure that she had not been with a male for a year before she laid. Will it happen again? Who knows. I guess you could always try it, but to do so you will need to get an incubator. You can buy this at any feed store for around $40.

Hope this helps some.

I have had her since she was a baby. I dont think she is even a year old yet. Never been caged with anything else.
