Hatching First Clutch

My Bearded Dragon Laid 20 Eggs Yesterday and I dont have an incubator so im hatching them out in a shoe box inside of a flip open cabinet its been holding steady at 80 degrees since last night i heard 84 is best but id rather it take a little longer for them to hatch then to accidently cook them all but anyway a few of them had little dents in them today so i wet a paper towel and laid is over top of them and i just added a tub of water wit a heating pad under it im thinkin this will keep the humidity up and stop the eggs from gettin those dents any help given would be much appreciated

This is what im hatching them in i got a plastic slide drawer now and im using an old touch lamp i found it works pretty good it has 3 light settings i keep it on the demest lighting it stays around 80

Nice ...I think the overhead lamp may dry it out rather quickly ...might want to place a lid on there with small holes in it....80F is good I have heard 83 max..it will just take a few days longer at 80.

If you put a lid on just make sure the condensation (if any) doesn’t go higher than the eggs on the side walls. You can also place a lid on at a diagonal so four corners are open.

Eggs look good. Start saving money or raising up feeder little insects. You need tons of insects to feed small dragons and looks like you have 20 dragons coming in a couple months.
