How to tell when she is ready to lay.......? if she lays she’ll look thinner and her skin will be a little loose. and you’ll notice that the dirt pile is in a different shape from her burying the eggs. you can check in every now and then just let her be for a while then every 2-3 hours check to make sure she’ss okay.

How to tell when she is ready to lay.......? I found a website where there put their bearded dragon in a trashcan( it was a clean one) and filled it with sand, then they took her out when she was done. Bearded dragons will also dig for days sometimes before they lay their eggs.

Make sure the dirt you are using is moist. So that you can put it in a ball and it holds it’s place. Not to wet though. It should be warm to. Mine layed hers in a bath tub. Not sure if that is good or not but it worked.

How to tell when she is ready to lay.......? Ya, sounds like she’s getting close. She needs a lay box. It’s pretty simple, go out to walmart and buy the largest rubbermaid tub you can find and a bag of plain cheap dirt without all the fertilizers. Pour the dirt in the tub, moisten it with water (not wet and muddy just moist), pile it on one end on a slope about 10-15" deep. Point a light at it to keep it warm. Put your girl in. She should dig a tunnel and lay her eggs, sometimes it takes a little while. You can tell if she’s dug because there will be dirt over on the side of the tub that was clean. You can tell where by the consistency of the dirt (feel around). Some are more shy than others but I’d say I can sit there and watch about 90% of my girls and they don’t care. Sean
