How soon? 
How soon after the female lays her eggs can I hold a light up to them to see if they are fertile? And what should I see if they are fertile? This is my first clutch and i’m very excited about it:) Thanks for the help. Herplover

How soon?
You should be able to see blood veins in a week or 2. Also it’s better to move the light behind them than to pick up the egg, less risk of something bad happening.Sean

now she has laid 9 eggs so far and 4 of them are perfect looking, oval, white, firm and 4 of them of more longish and they look a little dented but are still white. Does this mean they are bad? I did notice she kinda laid on these ones, could that have done it? herplover
