 I got a couple of qestions someone HELP!

ok heres the skinny i got an offer from a guy at the petstore who breeds beardeds and hes got a few sandfires in the store right now. Good lookin healthy ones too. He said that i could HAVE one of the babes for her (cause what can i say she gets her great looks from me) and then after he breeds her i would get another baby from her first clutch. Then i thought up another deal (cause theres no way i am just givin her away!) maybe i could lend her to him whenever he wants to breed her then when he is finished with her i get her back. AND i get one baby. I like both deals but number two appeals to me more. So qestions. Here it goes.

1) How long does the whole breeding then waiting for the eggs to develop then laying them take (the whole shebang)

2) Are there any health issues with breeding? My mom wants me to call the vet before I make any big decisions so are there any health snags i could get caught on.

3) what are the proper needs for a breeding female? If i lend my dragon to someone what should i look for in the facilities? Anything major i should be lookin for; Temps, substrate, anything?

Thanx in advance for any advice you guys give. Oh and for those who knew me to have a male bearded im gotta let ya know we found out it was a female after a check up from the vet.
Oh and dont worry about the baby yet cause i gotta do a lot ’o’ research before i take on a baby but i think im just about set up for anything.

I wouldn’t do it. You’ve got the female and it’s your animal that breeding will stress not his. Even if he’s doing all the work of incubating and raising the babies you’re still entitled to many more than just 1. Also remember that beardies can retain sperm for up to a year off of 1 breeding. Maybe offer him a few for a stud fee and consider raising them yourself.

weeeeellllllllll see i would do that its just im workin on my mom just for 1 baby (and i think shes crakin too) but anyway i just.......... its kinda hard for me to do. I really dont want to give her up shes an awesome family member. any suggestions?

If you just want 1 baby I’d just buy one. It’s not worth the risks to your female or stressing her from breeding for someone else to profit from it.

i dont breed dragons but with my leos i breed my friends in with mine for april and may then i give her back 2 him he just pays me like $20 for food and housing
