Well tonight the first cute little guy decided to pop out of his egg. I have removed him from the container with the other eggs and placed him in his own with some moist toilet paper on the bottom still in the incubator though. He doesn’t have an egg sack it must allreday be absorbed. How long does he stay in the incubator for? When should I try and feed him?

First little guy out of his egg :)
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn’t it so excitting? I kept my little guys in the incubator for 48 hours after hatching. But from what everyone says it can be as little as 24hrs. I didn’t see an egg sack on any of mine after they hatched also. But when I took them out of the incubator I did notice little hard balls that reminded me of when a human babies umbilical cord falls off. I introduced food the first day out of the incubator and it was probably anthor day or two before they were interested in trying to eat.
Good luck on the rest of your babies coming out. Have a great 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
