 Egg Problumes

My friend has two beardies living together and the female just laided her first clutch. The eggs have collapsed and turned sortuf
yellowish-brownish (i dont think it is a word) and I was wondering if the eggs are going to do ok. Only one egg is sortof white and is round. I am worried because i was going to get one if they hatched and i don’t want the eggs to die. Please give me some help.

 Egg Problems

If the eggs were "just" laid and have collapsed and are off color then they could be infertile. What type of incubator are you using? What temp are you keeping them at is the ground moist that you’re incubating on?The humidity or temps could be off.

Sounds like they’re bad but go through your incubation info just in case.

Thanks, I think that they are just bad. I think that he just took the eggs, took a criket keeper cage, got mist soil, and put the container under the heat lamp in the cage.

Not a good way to incubate at all. Keep in mind that beardies retain sperm and she could lay a clutch a month for up to a year off of 1 mating so he needs to get ready for the next one. Buy a hovabator.

 Egg Problumes

Well i just found out that thouse eggs wern’t fertillised but 3 days after she layed them she mated again with the male. She almost forsed the male to mate. I had always thought that it was the other way around. He said the she would go and nip its ear than turn around and look back at the make bearded dragon and did it again and again until it mated. Well she is now pregnant and will hopefuly lay her eggs soon. how long does it take because i am getting one?

Gestation is about 20-30 days and incubation is about 60 days at 83.5

THe Male beardie has orange in it. Is that worth more than a normal bearded dragon? about how much? What morph would it be? If he bred that with a normal beardie than would it still have the orange? Sorry alot of questions.

Don’t know, can’t say and won’t even try to speculate lol. Without knowing both of their genetic history’s it’s impossible to call them "morphs" or what "morph".
