a basic breeding setup will run you nearly $1000 to start off, plus females should be preferrably 18 months old and 350+ grams.

OK, here we go again....All the dragons on this forum are related, everyone, the US population of BDs started as 30 wild dragons......Dragons are inbred too much as it is for color and things like that.....You do not know what these babies will produce....you don’t know their linage. You need to know it all before you begin breeding it isnt something you just jump into. If you don’t know about genetics and linage you shouldn’t breed.

Tail hook, retardation, failure to thrive, flipper foot, massive physical deformities (internal and external), etc. The comment about beardies being in a genetic bottleneck in this country is correct, not that I recomend inbreeding in any reptile but it is especially important with beardies. Research as far back as you can on their genetic background and do not linebreed, they’re already screwed up enough as is.

TAZ™, how old is your male? Mine is about 9 months old, and looks like yours... But I wasnt sure if he was old enough for breeding.
