 Blisters?

Hi !my name is Jason, I am usually on the ball python forum but today I saw my friend Meygan’s bearded dragon and it had some small blisters on the bottom part of its back legs. THey havent been getting bigger or are affeting him, they are just there. My first thought was to go to the vet but I didnt want her to waste her money if it isnt that serious.

Maybe a burn from the lights? How would you know it’s not serious? I would be giving my money away if it were one of my babies! And i don’t mean to sound rude so sorry if i do.

The blisters are on the belly side of his legs so I dont think it could be from a burn. SHe lives far away from the nearest vet and she has no real means of transportation, when she has to go somewhere she has to pay her sister for gas money and we all know how expensive that is. It looks like one of those blisters that one gets on their hands that just goes away.

Well i’m not sure what they would be and i know how it is to live so far from a vet i took all my 3 dragons on a almost 8 hour drive 3 weeks ago to have fecals done and yes it can be costly, but if you are going to own a Bearded Dragon, you have to be prepared for anything including spending a few bucks and if taking them on 8 hour drives is what i have to do when they need a check up, it will be done! LOL.

It sounds like you’re talking about his femoral pores which are normal. Are they down both sides of his back legs?

 Blisters?

I agree with Sairhead21. It sounds like the femoral pores dragons have on the insides of the top part of the legs. These are more pronounced in males than in females. It would help if you could post a picture of them. We could be more positive then.
