okay so i bought my lizard a basking rock so he is closer to the light if he wants to be and it has like a cave to it the middle is hollowed so he has a place to sleep. he loves sleeping there and laying in there. but the thing is during the day while im at work i come home to find him under there laying? is this a bad thing? should i allow him to lay there or bring him out to get warm?

he is like 9 months old about 12 inches. he is a porker and getting fatter. right now we are having some temp problems.. for one our night balb took a so i gotta get him a new one. but the temps sky rocketed to 70’s 80’s last week so house was hot tank was hot well then thry droped back down to 40. even tho i got the balb cranked its hard to get it over the high 90’s but yeah he is sheding his whole head is white legs white arms white. so i think he is in for one hell of a shed. just 2 weeks ago he sheded his tail and arms and looks like his arms ands legs getting it again ^^ woot!
