hi i have a ? how often do they poop?

Hey,

It depends......when they are babies they can poop two to three times a day. As they get older they do slow down. My adults poop once every week or so.

oh really, thanks so much. the guy i got him from said he is about a yr. we had him for about a week and a half now and he has only pooped once so I was starting to get worried. He is finally started to eat veggies but I think his previous owner gave him lots of meal worms and crickets. how many times should I be giving him crickets and worms and veggies? thanks again

Adults should be getting 20% protein and 80% veggie’s. Don’t feed him mealworms. They have a hard exoskeleton called chitin that can easily impact them. They also aren’t very nutritious for beardie’s. Feed him salad daily and protein a couple times a week. He should be getting about 50 crickets/roaches or 30 silkworms a week.
