So, what are your dimensions? And how much did it cost to build? I think I could probably build one like that for my adult beardie. Give him alot more room than his 40 breeder. =D

As for the screen in the front,is it window screen? wire or rubber?

They are 6 feet long, 2 feet wide and 2 feet tall. All together for 1 enclosure it only cost around 100 dollars which i think is reasonable. The screen is wire and i was a little concerned at first that they would get their nails stuck but it’s all good they climb it all the time with no problems but when they do climb the screen i know they want to come out to play, so out they come, [but not together of corse lol]

Sounds perfect. A new glass aquarium is so high priced compared to a giant home-made one. Plus the extra space would be really nice for my guy to get his "exercise" heh. I think I spent $110 on my 40 breeder. So why not have double the space for the same price? lol

I think I’m gonna make one for my adult thats like 5 feet long,3 feet deep and 2 feet high. And I think I might stain the wood on the outside a cool dark cherry color.And make some cool gold pinstripes on it. make it look "fancy" lol.

I’m just gonna use regular hinges on the outside and a small padlock lock to keep people from messing with my beardie. There’s always that one friend that has to hold all the reptiles. Then I can just say "I can’t find my key.." =P

Also, are your cages screen on the sides too? Or just the fronts?

And did you just use regular untreated plywood? Or some sort of solid wood? If so what kind?

Sorry for all the questions, I’d just like to do this right the first time. And after seeing your home-made setups that are done right, Its gonna be hard to make one as good as yours.

No just screen on the front, not the sides, and yea it’t plywood and i put heavy duty plastic on the bottom and today i put the slate in so now it really looks great! Thanks and happy building!

lol, the wood is pylwood and the screen is steel which has to be strong b/c they like to climb it, especially when they wanna come out, lol. It’s 6 feet long, 2 feet wide, and 2 feet tall. I think maybe one of these days, i will make it longer just b/c they look so happy with all the space to run around, so why not give them some more! lol.
