 10 month old female won’t eat suddenly

I have 2 10 month old bds one male and one female both different kinds. My female the common bd has stopped eating crickets and hasnt eaten much greens. She hasnt eaten for almost a week all she has eaten is 4 horned worms when i got them for them as a treat and she just lays on her drift wood at the front of the tank. Her eyes still look lively and she is still responsive to whats going on but won’t really eat. what could this be?

Hey,

Are they housed together? What are your temps and do you have a UVB for her? When was the last time you had a fecal done on her?

It could be that she is just slowing herself down. Usually when they get to about that age they start slowing down on the eating.

they are both housed seperately and she used to be the good eater. they have pooped in there cages under 10 times since i got them 2 months ago because they seem to love to routinely poop in the bath. The temps are good and i have mercury bulbs in both 150w and the male is thriving he is so healthy.

Hey,

Have you had a fecal done on them? It could be parasites. It could be nothing. But if you haven’t done a fecal I would highly suggest it. At least if she is clean, then you know she is probably ok and just slwoing herself down.

Hey when you are offering greens do you rotate them & offer different greens plus veggies- my beardies slowed down but increased their green intake & veg also silk worms too
