 Quick question

Hey Andrew,

You can feed superworms to your beardie but just as a treat. The chitin, or exoskeleton in the superworm is just not as hard as the mealworm. That’s why no mealworms, but it’s ok to feed the supers.

 Quick question

Supers are ok to feed as a treat if your dragon is at least 12" long. I don’t know why he recommended calcium sand since it is obviously a horrible substrate to use for many herps. My only guess would be that calci sand is so new that he hasn’t heard all the horror stories from people who have used it unsuccessfully.
