 Umm... Eggs????

I was cleaning out my girls tank today and found... 18 EGGS!!!!

She’s never been mated!!! lol

A while ago i did ponder if she was either gravid... or just fat.... and since i stuck a lay box in there for her and got nothing, i assumed she was fat. So i took the lay box out, cleaned the tank and left it at that. 1 month later when i come to do my monthly clean and i find 18 eggs under the reptile carpet!!!

All yellow and dried :(

I just wish i had been there when she laid them!

lol yea it’s funny how they lay eggs even if they have never mated...maybe next time you will beable to witness it, lol.

It was just such a surprise because i just figured she was fat when i couldn’t feel the eggs inside her!

I posted a picture of her on another forum and when another member posted a pic of their gravid female and i saw all the egg bulges i thought... "Nah, no way can mine be gravid, she’s just a fatty!" lol

Then eggs! Out of no where!!! O.o And 18 of them!!!
