 Shrek wont eat his greens!

Hi,
I’m the one that posted the malnourished & dehydrated rescued beardies a few days ago. Now I’ve come up on a new problem. Shrek wont touch greens, makes me think they had never been offered to him. any suggestions?

Hey... how about dropping worms or roaches right into the salad...like one or two at a time..... Shrek may eat some of the greens when he goes for the insect and decide he likes it... Just a suggestion,,,

The thing is if they have never had them you may find it hard to get them to eat them now. Never give up though. Try a little chicken baby food on top of the greens, just until they start to eat them, or you could try hand feeding but that can spoil them also, or as stated, add some bugs to the greens, the movement will get their attention. You could even try dropping the greens from above right in front of them. How are they doing btw? Any pics of them?

Yeah, I often trick my dragons into accidentally eating salad by putting worms in the dish or by simply feeding them salad with the tongs I use for the worms, they recognize the tongs and go nuts for it.

OH AND NANCY....
to answer your question...they are a bit more frisky and energetic! i think they will be great here in a few weeks. here is a cute video i recorded last night of Diamond waving to Shrek in the other cage...he was over there bobbing his head the whole time. was too funny!

Awww, poor babies are sooo skinny! People who can do this to such a sweet animal doesn’t deserve animals at all! But I am sure you will have them looking great in no time...Diamond is so gorgeous!

This is Lucky, I rescued him just a few short months ago from a pet store...
