pleaseee make sure there not in the same tank!!!! they must be serperateee lol. And idk the age and the price sounds about right, its worth it to have one every penny. You cant keep males and females together though. Or males and males, Females and Females are do able. If there together they need to be serperate.

I am pretty sure tht its still not good, depending on there age. I think its okay for clutch mates to. Someone smarter than me will surely come on here and tell u if im wrong. But i am pretty sure its a no no for tht.

 New Beardies!

Hey,

Your babies are Gorgeous!!!

You can keep them together until they are about five months old. These guys can breed as early as that. You definitely would not want her to become gravid at that age. These guys stop growing at 18 months old. If she has babies before then, she will put the calcium intended for her bones into shelling the eggs. Not a good things for one so young.

Will they breed? Maybe, maybe not as soon as 5 months.....but why take a chance.

I would say they are probably about a couple months old.

Cluth mates are to be separated at five months old as well. Even though they are siblings, they will breed.

They are beautiful! And I agree totally with Edel. I have a clutch of beardies here from my female and they are almost 5 months, and just recently I had to remove the boys b/c they were getting aggressive with the females, so no worries, they will be fine together for a while yet :)

Congrats:)

thats what i thought...i thought it was okay to keep clutch mates together...till a certain point in time, but if there not from the same clutch never. Oh well. I was close enough.

Yep, it’s ok if they are not from the same clutch, just while they are so small though. Being that small the male wouldn’t try to mate the female yet, I would say 4-5 months to separate them. just watch the male and look for signs that he is showing sexual behavior toward her...
