my family members are coming down for halloween..(why? i have no clue) but they are and my nephew has a pet rat that he is bringing along..can the rat stay in the same rooms as my BD? i dont no anything about rats and BD’s and all that good stuff

Yes, they can be in the same room but it may stress your beardie if he sees the rat constantly, unless you could put the rat somewhere the beardie can’t see it? I know every time I bring a new herp or animal in my house some of my beardies get reaaly stressed while others don’t seem to care less...

yeah, definitely. Just don’t put it on the opposite side of the cage because your beardie will be puffin his beard constanly and stressing out. Just put it on top of the cage or on the side where he/she can’t see.

yeah they can stay in the same room just make sure they can’t see each other because my rats are always trying to get into my beardies cage

thank u all :) i put the rat on the far end off the room but my beardy doesnt seem to care at all she notices the rat when he is making noise but just goes back to basking, if she keeps this behavior up im thinking about gettin a rat, im already attatched to this one lol and there so darn cute
