 OT: I break things :-)

I was fiddling around my Leo cage, which is right in the door way, wires from the light hanging down, running across the door way plugged to the outlet on the other wall when I tripped on the cord and it fell and broke but, through years of keeping reptiles I happened to have 2 more ceramic topped dome shaped clamp lamps. Well, that was this morning soo... I put the next one on top her cage and put a new bulb in but I hadn’t plugged it in yet. I decided to feed my Uro in the tank below first. My Leo’s tank is on top of my uro’s custom tank. I’m down there feeding him his peas and corn when somehow pulled on the cord with my knee and guess what? The fixture with bulb in comes crashing down on my head, breaking the bulb and the ceramic part of the fixture on... you guessed it, my head. Ouch I know, I have a knack for fixing things and destroying things. Fixture #1 and #2 broke beyond repair I’m now worried, I only have one more! I’m worried what my destructive traits will do to it. :-) My head is fine if you were wondering, I have a headache now but, I usually get a horrible migraine for a few day’s every week any how so that’s normal. I’m going to baby this fixture cause I don’t wanna buy another! :-) Have Fun, this was just my stupid moment for today. :-)

Cody ,

They sell just the ceramic part seperately at the Home Depot..about 3.00-4.00 bucks. I have broken them too.....LOL

Good thing it hit yer head ...it may have broken something else!
