You would make you Beardie very happy in a tank that big. If you buy one as a baby you would want to close off part of it for now, so he can get comfortable. After he’s been in there a month or two you should be safe opening it up. What temp is house normally? The cool side would be fine at around 75 degrees (air temperature) and the hot side at around 85-90 degrees (air temperature), Just put a basking area on one side or that tank is big enough, you could probably get away with putting it in the middle if you wanted. Keep us updated, any more question? Something I missed? :-)

Okay,

1. For now Tile or Paper towel would be the best, I use tile because I like it better

2. You could house more than one female in there but, make sure they are from the same clutch, but even then they may have dominance issues, in other words one female bullying the other, keeping one from eating and that kinda stuff

3. A light with UV and Heat is an MVB (Mercury Vapor Bulb) Thanks to Cp posting a link to this page, which I haven’t been able to find for a couple weeks, I can show you some charts on these:

The first one, look over some of the charts displaying the decay rate of the bulbs on that page here:
Link

Now, on this page look at the Mega Ray charts:
Link

The Mega Ray bulb is clearly superior. I went through all that because I had some recent ’issues’ with with people only wanting to buy a cheaper MVB, so I will tell you this... Buy the Mega Ray bulb found here: Link

Others are cheaper, some more expensive but trust me, just get it and you will be happy. Don’t even bother with other bulbs, just pretend they are dog crap, I mean, who wants to touch that stuff? :-)

4. They do need lots of ground space yes. But they will climb just about everything you put in there. Try to put some rocks, caves or places to hide, some fake plants maybe, rope, branches and that kinda stuff. If you want to get some branches from the woods you can, I’ve done it before. You will need to get rid of any bugs and parasites or whatever inside it though. If you do that and want some help on how to clean it just ask. Try to make it pieces small enough to fit in the oven, you can still clean them if they don’t fit though. Any more questions? Have Fun! :-)
